Labouroo has been providing quality labour resources for all construction stages of the 132 MWdc Merredin Solar Farm which is located approximately 260km east of Perth in Western Australia’s Central Wheatbelt region. Merredin Solar Farm is the largest solar farm committed to construction in Western Australia and once connected will have an expected output of 281GWh of electricity annually, generating enough energy to power approximately 42,000 Western Australian homes. The solar farm consists of approximately 45 000 piles and 360,000 Risen Energy panels mounted on a single-axis tracking system.
Scope of Works:
Labouroo personnel was responsible for Civil works, crib & office set-up, fencing site, roads, trenches, logistics (unloading & spreading material), piledriving, tracker & panel installation and electrical wiring.
Our team was part of every stage of the project, undertaking constant re-training and refocusing on various tasks.
Labouroo was also responsible for organizing accommodation, messing and daily transport for the staff.
